Winter Wonderland...

Last night, it was raining.

When we woke up this morning, this is what we saw:

It wasn't actually sunny when we first woke up, and our hydro was out for three hours... But still! The kids were so excited, and wanted to go outside. By the time they finished their math.. the sun was out. :) And so, I let them skip out on their other schoolwork (I remember being a kid wanting to play in the first snowfall!) and off they went, Hannah in tow. ;)

Ride down the barn hill. (And yes, Chester is compelled to bark/bite at anything that moves.. tires, sleds..)

Hannah was enjoying it thoroughly.

As soon as I headed for the front yard, Chester came running... and found his ball under the snow.
