It's finally warm.  And the dandelions are finally here.  :D

We've been crazy busy this month.  I know, I know, I say that a lot. But it's true.

One year

From three to four.  She's changed so much.

New babies

It's that time again.  New lambs in the barn.

And these two little guys were rejected by their mother.  So, in by the woodstove they came.

So far, they are doing well.  :)

And actually, when I clicked your link tonight, I was a little shocked that I haven't visited in almost three weeks.

I didn't mean it.

But, with dance competitions, holiday weekends, camping season starting, and baseball games beginning, it doesn't leave much time for anything else.

But I promise to come back.

Lately I've been reading about the "Zone" system.  And practicing.  I metered Trixie's black fur to zone 3 (-2 on the meter) and it's the *first* picture I have of her in the window without having the window blown out.  This is SOOC, with just a hint of recovery cause her teeth had blinkies.  :)  Resized and sharpened for web.  (Ignore the dirty window.  ;)

I'm loving the zone.  :)

Anything I can do to help make my shots perfect SOOC, and eliminating need for lots of post processing makes me very happy.  :D

Morning chores

Alice greets them with a "HEE HAW!!" every morning.  :)

She refused to go outside.

But wait!!

She came out!

And she's been out with them every day since.  :)

And on a different note, yesterday was Ethan's 11th birthday.

I think he liked his gift.  ;)

Her first

Hannah is 2½.

She has thin, fine, baby hair.

So, I've never cut it.

Until now.

She's now sporting...

I think they look so cute!  :)

Yay for no more hair in her eyes!  That always drove me (and her) nuts.  :)
