This is my grandma. She’s about 1 or so in this picture. Florence was born on July 4, 1915. (She always told us kids that the Americans celebrated her birthday every year! :D )

This is Florence and her older sister, Margaret. Aunt Maggie is still alive and kicking – and an absolute riot!

And this is my grandpa, Bernard. This picture is from about 1918. Bernard was born Feb 13, 1917. And yes, he considered 13 to be a lucky number! :)
