Spring = Bikes!

Justin has been growing and growing. And, he grew right out of his 20" bike! (You know the bike is getting small when your knees almost hit your nose when you are pedaling! :)

So, Jeff and I decided to buy him his very first brand-new-from-Canadian-Tire bicycle! All of our bikes have been picked up at garage sales and thrift stores - which works great! But, it's hard to find the right size of bike when you need it.

He's moved up to one with 24" tires. And loves it! (Can you tell from the grin on his face?)

Now he's all ready for our family bike rides in the summer. And now Jeff is eyeing up a new bike, too. ;)

Hurray for biking weather! :D

    Ya' mean like human-powered bike? For Jeffie? Come on, that's why God allowed the invention of gasoline motors... get that HondaMatic running!

    It's kind of hard to keep up with the kids on a HondaMatic. ;) And they're not allowed on the bike trails.

    But, someday we'll get it running again! While we're waiting, might as well have fun with human power. :D
