Bike ride on G.A.R.T.!

On Sunday after church we decided to go for a bike ride on the Goderich to Auburn Rail Trail. It was a beautiful day, and we packed a picnic lunch. We had just bought all the kids their own new bike helmet, (since it's a law in Ontario, sigh) and they were excited to try them out. :)

Michael didn't ride his bike, since he's still just learning, but he got to ride in the bike trailer with Annabelle. (Rebekah's favourite doll. ;)

We travelled from Heron Line, all the way to Lucknow Line, and back again. We stopped at Sharpe's Creek to have our picnic, since there was a park bench there. (How convenient!)

We have decided to try and make a Sunday family bike ride a new tradition! But, next time we won't go so far. ;) We were all pretty tired by the end of the ride. Maybe next time we'll check out the trails that are just south of Clinton.

Hopefully the good weather will last, and we can ride all the way into October!
