I've been trying to set up a rotating header. (^ what do you think?) It's still off-center, and I'm not sure how to fix it. Sigh. But, other than that, I think I like it! :D
It's quickly getting colder here. All the bees are out, gathering the last of the pollen.
I was able to get a pic of this one, while holding back a very interested kitten. ;)
Here it is:
I was very happy that the bee was in focus. ;) I wouldn't recommend taking pictures of a bee with one hand, and holding a kitten in the other.
So, version one:
cropped
darkened
sharpened
adjusted saturation levels slightly
low Cross-Process
vignette
frame
2nd one I cropped it differently, and didn't use the Cross-Process (which I like on grass - makes it 'deeper' or something.) Everything else stayed the same.
So, which one do you like better?

Wow even the SOOC s great. My favorite is the second edit! Wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteI love your new Header. Was it hard to do?
I love the new header!! I need to change mine again, but I don't think I could ever do that.
ReplyDeleteMy fav is the second one. Cool bee shot. :) I would've let the kitten get it, and run.
My word for today is supple. Nice. ;)
I like the first edit better, the tall crop really highlights the flower and the bee, in the other one they seem lost in the grass.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute widdle bee! XD
The header looks great Adeena. And you're not kidding, AWESOME focus on the bee.
ReplyDeleteI like the header. I like the first edit more; the second one doesn't seem as clear or as green or something. Not sure.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I'm so jealous of your fabulous rotating header, brilliant idea! And your sooc shot & edited version are both wonderful, great color!
ReplyDeletePS~ to center header... try going into the edit html section on your design layout & set your header-wrapper, outer-wrapper & main-wrapper to the same width. always save design template to your computer first, then preview as you try & center... hope that helps!
Your header look good! They can be so touchy when you're trying to align them!
ReplyDeleteAnd your sooc shot is amazing! I think I like the vertical crop best...it feels more natural with the vertical-ness of the clover.
Super cool Adeena! LOVE both edits. The deeper colors look great. I expect no less from you regarding the master juggling (cat, camera & bee), since you have 5 little ones! LOL! (Also, I love the rotating header. All the pics are great...but Becky's center pic REALLY caught my eye! Gorgeous gal!) :-) I can't even tell it's off center; I must be getting old.
ReplyDeleteI really like both edits. They both look really great.
