Touch-Up Tuesday

It's Tuesday!  :D

That means it's Touch-Up time again.

This picture is very fresh.  ;)  My baby girl woke me up at 6am today.  (Have I said before how I am *not* a morning person?)

Hannah was very happy.  We walked around outside for a bit, then sat together on the deck.

Where she promptly fell asleep on my leg.

Bugger.

SOOC.

Aperture: 2.8
Shutter: 1/60
Focal length: 6.3mm
ISO: 80

In PhotoStudio:

Cropped.
Brightened.
Adjusted levels.  (Until I liked the result.)
Painted away the dirt in her fingernails.  ;)
Added watermark.

In Photoscape:

Added vignette.

Are you going to play this week?  Head on over to Karli's.  :)

  1. Oh, soooooo sweet. :)

I am so not a morning person either, but as fate would have it... all of my kids are. I look forward to getting revenge when they're teenagers.

  2. Awwwwwwww!!

    Little stinker.

At least she was happy! I hate it when Deklan wakes up early, and GRUMPY. If he's happy, it's not so bad. ;)

Beautiful job! I love the focus on her hand, and how you made her fingernails clean! I hate dirty fingernails, too. :D

I'm going to do Touch-up Tuesday later on today, since I already did a blog this morning! I'll let people see that one for a while before I smack them with another. :D

  3. Very subtle but just enough to make this photo stand out!

  4. Removing the dirt is so cool! I wish I could do that in real life, when I realize just how dirty Stewart is as we're going into the store, church etc....

Baby's are buggers, that's why God made them so cute. So we don't kill them when they wake us up.

  5. Her skin tone looks really great and you did such a nice job removing the dirt from under her fingernails! It was a sweet snapshot to begin with, but your edit really makes it awesome for an album or the wall. :)

  6. This is absolutely lovely Adeena. Her skin color in your edit is divine. And it reminds me to take pictures of Livia sleeping. I don't have any since she was a newborn, and I love it so much. (I don't know how in the world you did her fingernails. It looks amazing)! Great job! :-)
