Setting up Creekside!

We are almost ready!

Last night, we got a few more thing set up at Creekside.

Here's Bernice!  Our kids use her when it's just us, but she's available for guests... if Heather isn't using her.  ;)  She's got dibs.  Why?  'Cause I said so.  :P

This was our first trailer.  It's not road-worthy, gets mice in it in the winter despite all our efforts to stop them, but we still love it!  The fridge runs on propane!  Woo-Hoo!  :D

This is where the little tent trailer will go.  We also set up the cooking area here.

These two were floating dandelion 'boats' down the creek... and watching them go by.  :)

And, of course, Nana loves it at Creekside!  :)  Check out the dirty face.  Yes, she was eating dirt.  And I realized as I took the picture that she was sucking on a rock.  Mmmm..  O.o

Yes, that's another Little Sister shirt.  I buy her one in every size.  'Cause I love it.  :D

Now if the rain would go away, we could go camping!!  :D

  1. I had Deklan outside with the kids yesterday, and he was playing in the grass while we drew with sidewalk chalk on the driveway, and when I turned around he had (a. a pebble (b. two pieces of chestnut skin (c. a big piece of leaf and (d. a piece of the chalk in his mouth. AAAAAAAAH!

At least the chalk is non-toxic. :P

Yay for Creekside set up again! I think I'll come down this week, probably Tuesday overnight and Wednesday. :)

  2. Stones have needed nutrients. I'm so glad you guys have set up. That means the weather is nice!! Hurray!

  3. Ohhh this looks SO FUN!! I wish our babies could get together and slurp on rocks together - LOL! You might think you have an iffy camera...but your pictures are fantastic! Goes to show it's not the camera, it's the photographer!! :-) (Funny, I can take some real doozys with my 'good' camera). But I'm practicing!! :-) Have a great weekend!!

  4. I love the "because I said so" comment.

    Damn straight.

  5. YAY!!

Can not WAIT to go camping.

    And your pictures are gorgeous....
    and Nana is adorable,

and I can't wait to get home!!!
